Bits and pieces & a peek-a-boo into my crowded mind.

Write your own stories with the ink of passion,
the plot of dreams,
the courage of a legendary warrior,
the pride of kings and queens
and the romance of greatest lovers…

Tell them loud every night you go to bed
and live them as you walk the face of earth,
Have them as your legends
and as your guide books,
believe in them more than the voices
around you …
And for those who will try to shake your belief,
deal with them as the dragons in fairytales
… CHOP THEIR HEADS OFF!

NO! you are not asked to jump into fire, to cut your own life short and just have them shoot you between the eyes. You are not asked to go out to shout a couple of lines and have them shutting you up before you deliver a point. You are not asked to add more chaos into the mess we call a country, today. … But you are certainly asked to start this revolution within your Skull! to rebel in your mind and at FIRST free your thoughts!! Wanna change? change within! and believe that change is contagious! and then go SPREAD IT! Educate your self, your siblings, your friends and your loved ones! Refuse injustice, report violence, share stories and give a hand. BE HUMAN, it is a REVOLUTION IT SELF!

Break those elements causing the blindness of your mind, making you ignore, live in denial, simulating happiness instead of living and feeling it. break free and BE HUMAN!

If only we knew how small we are in this world, how on a very thin thread of a line, we are hanging in this world, and might drop dead any second and leave it, if only we knew that no matter how big you get, you will eventually be berried, grieved on but soon forgotten, so WHY? … WHY look down to people, have too much pride that it becomes ego? why be that kind of person, loving your self and never be loved by others? WHY?

Hiba is a Sudanese young woman… who has a job, a family, commitments and a busy life to keep up with. She doesn’t have any kind of super powers, or too much spare time that she wants to kill.

However, Hiba -and almost 20 other person, as well- try hard to offer some of their time to make a smile on those little kids’ faces, who were unfortunate to lose, or be born without their sight.

Hiba, here in the picture, was sitting with young kids, helping them learn how to make crafts, supervising thier activity… and literally, just having fun and playing with them, enjoying small chats, and laughing to their beautiful jokes.

This means the world to them… a few hours spent with a number of volunteers, who’ve left their homes and families on the weekend, willingly decided to give that time to those kids.

If Hiba could do this… YOU CAN!

When it comes to accomplishing goals and going after your dreams, do NOT listen to the World… it’s your dreams, your goals, your rules and your WORLD!

GO GET IT, PERIOD!

Knowing that you love me, is one thing … And you, always trying to find new ways, to “show” me how much and deep is that love, is a whole other thing ♥

Just because they are blind or visually impaired, doesn’t mean that they should be kept between four walls, treated like they cannot have a normal life.

Who are we to tell them that they cannot be whoever they want, or do whatever they desire?

has t ever accrued to you that maybe being blind helps seeing a better picture, purer image, one that is not limited by the images that one see everyday and leaves more to imagination? … This was proven to us by kids (7-16 y.old)

On a day out of their school, we took them to a nursery school in Amarat, where they got a better chance to play around, make some crafts, play music and other activities. Some of the kids were making some beautiful craft pieces. I was amazed when one of those kids was asking if there were other colors of one of the pieces he was putting onto his work, so he adds more style to it. I wondered to myself, what does he know about colors?

But only him, knew how his world looked like, inside of his head.
What amazing people!

Did you know that there is only ONE school, in SUDAN, that gives special education and treatment for visually impaired people? And that it is a primary school?

Did you know that 25+ kids, live in that school and their families are not in Khartoum state? … and that they don’t have any where to go to on the weekends?

Did you know that most of these kids are amazingly gifted, talented and highly intelligent? … Did you know that even though they’ve lost their sight or were born blind, they still have a great vision?

—A beautiful group of volunteers -and myself- enjoy spending the weekends with those kids. They have taught us a lot, inspired us, and gained our greatest respect.
